Yoga Nidra Meditation – holistic medicine
Yoga Nidra is a classical practice of meditation, which is deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. This practice was created by the Indian Master Swami Satyananda Saraswati and is now known and used all over the world by yoga teachers and professionals alike. I was lucky enough to spend time in Swamiji’s company, while he was alive and so I honour him for bringing this wonderful practice to the west.
The beauty of this practice has been that you require no formal training in meditation or any form of yoga to practice it and receive full benefits. Yoga nidra is practiced from the completely passive and relaxed position of ‘Shavasana’, also known as the dead mans pose, where we do a surrender to the practice, dying to the outside world of stressors and distractions to relax shifting our focus to go within. In this posture we are lying on the back with arms evenly placed out from the sides of the body on the floor, palms upward in a gesture of surrender. We can lie on a mat, the floor or even on a bed. If the practitioner is too weak to sit or walk they can still practice yoga nidra from a hospital bed, chair or wheelchair with wonderful results.
The many benefits of Yoga nidra can be shared widely by either the individual at home, by a professional in a yoga or meditation class situation or during rehabilitation or therapy. The sickness industry has become a major concern worldwide, with every new company looking for the pill, drug or potion to magically cure all and promise health and instant healing. This modern lifestyle has become fast and furious; fast food, fast cars, and fast communication with the press of a button, cash with the swipe of a card, but to what avail. The very important ‘pauses’ and periods of inaction between life’s events are becoming less, shorter or non-existant. We have forgotten that it is in these very important pauses or times of ’Chilling Out’ we integrate and digest the experiences of life. It is also often the time when the creative mind can bring through to our consciousness new and brilliant ideas or an epiphany or deeper insight which can help us integrate and assimilate life thus growing in wisdom. The human body is not a machine; it is a finely tuned instrument that requires care and finesse to maintain vibrant health and clarity. Meditation provides the tool for that Pause.
The one fundamental aspect to health and healing that is seems to be swept aside and disregarded in this fast world may be the magic ingredient to health. Good old “R & R”- Rest and Relaxation. Studies on meditation and relaxation techniques indicate without a doubt, that when the brain patterns change through achieving a deep state of relaxation, the physiological experience is altered. Thus our does our Physiology affect our Psychology by ‘Our Psychology changes Physiology’.
From a scientific point of view the brain waves are very much affected and influenced through music, sound, and meditation. In daily life we mainly experience Beta brainwave patterns (13-30 cycles per/second), however if we listen to ambient music or enter into a relaxed state the brainwave patterns change to Alpha (7-13 cycles/second) and when we enter into an even deep state of meditation we can experience Theta brainwave patterns (4-7cycles/second). The benefits of Alpha and Theta brain waves are many and these patterns can be invoked through meditation, relaxation and listening to certain music, sound and tones. Have you ever wondered why young children are so “Full of Beans”, so eager and enthusiastic about life? Scientists now propose that this is because they spend most of their waking hours in Alpha or Theta brain wave states; in their creative imaginary world of make believe or even visions. As they become more “Grown Up”, they spend more of their waking hours in the logical and analytical states of mind that generate Beta brain waves. Logic is of course necessary; however when we spend too much time in Beta, as can happen in our fast and furious life styles, then stress can become a contributing factor to physical, mental and emotional dis-ease. Reflect next time you say to a child or younger person to “stop daydreaming”, or “grow up” or “get into the real world”. What is REAL? Perhaps this is why we sometimes reflect during stressful times on the innocence, joy, excitement and carefree experience of childhood. We crave a bit more Alpha and Theta to bring us back into balance. Recent discoveries in the science of psycho-neuro-immunology (a long word for the relationship between the mind and body), have demonstrated a clear link between healing and brain wave patterns.
During relaxation in Alpha and Theta states, breathing pattern relaxes and deepens, the blood pressure drops, there is muscular relaxation, and the levels of neurological and emotional stress drop dramatically. With the resulting lowered levels of anxiety (reflecting stress), the ability to concentrate improves, sleep patterns improve, and emotional re-action that create family and relationship friction lessen. We develop the ability to act more from the present moment as we relax into present time. Given it is now considered a fact, that stress is a major factor dis-ease in relationship dynamics, physical and psychological health, it figures that time spent in Alpha and Theta states, which includes the wonderful practice of Yoga Nidra, definitely has its many benefits.
Lack of direction or the lack of positive aims and goals in life leads to feelings of confusion and worthlessness. This is a major problem for people today and a common stress factor in life. Have you asked yourself lately “What do I really want?” or “What is my aim in life?”Because Life has become so fast and the pauses between actions are fewer there seems to me a distinct lack of time to contemplate this question deeply and fully. Due to this we are often racing around fulfilling small desires that gratify the senses in the moment, however there is now big picture, no real direction.
A lot of energy can be expended in this way with no real achievement.
Yoga Nidra addresses this issue with the introduction of a “Sankalpa”. Sankalpa is a sanskrit word meaning resolve or affirmation. To develop a resolve is to have firm determination to do or achieve something or some state of being. Sankalpa gives life purpose, which in turn generates energy. Sankalpa is a magic ingredient of the practice of yoga nidra. Through the creation of a sankalpa and the daily, or regular use of it we set a course to steer ourselves clearly toward a set goal or destination or maintain a state of Being. A Sankalpa may be as simple as ‘I remain alert and deeply relaxed’ or ‘I love and honour myself in all I do” or “I allow myself time to deeply relax”, or “I am calm and peaceful”.
The sankalpa is chosen by the practitioner carefully and repeated at the beginning and at the end of the practice when the mind is open and relaxed. It is like planting a positive seed in the fertile ground of the sub-conscious mind, where it can germinate, grow and flower, fully manifested in our lives. I know this works as I have used this practice for nearly 30 years myself. Our minds are very powerful, a virtually untapped resource for the manifestation of vibrant health as well as our hopes and dreams.
In his book on “Yoga Nidra” Swami Satyananda Saraswati talks about the lack of direction and states that most of us are “floundering in the darkness, like ships without rudders”. In my 30 years of teaching and working with people I would have to say that this is true, confusion and lack of a clear direction in life, coupled with stress and a lack of personal power and belief leave many of us unhappy and depressed, not manifesting our highest potential.
The practice of Yoga Nidra is deeply relaxing to the physical body and can assist people to recharge their batteries, have down time, healing on a deeper level. Some people use it at night if they suffer from insomnia by putting the cd on and listening to it as they fall asleep deeply relaxed with a postive affirmation planted in the mind such as “ I now fall asleep in a deeply relaxed way”.
This is a wonderfully nourishing practice guided by my voice together with the sublime music of Terry Oldfield composer and my darling husband. I do hope it goes out to the world to benefit many people as it has done for myself and the hundreds of students I have shared it with in classes over the past 30 years.

A Woman’s Final Rite of Passage – Menopause
There is something special about being over 50. I always looked forward to this time, feeling it would be a special time when I would be a little more wise and much more relaxed in my life, having less children and family responsibilities, and more time to smell the roses so to speak. Much of my private life of motherhood and the fertile years were spent single parenting my four sons, which brought many joys along with big life lessons and challenges, all of which ultimately have carved out a better me.
I now realize around the age of 50 comes a very important “rite of passage’ for all women, which is marked by the slowing down of and final cessation of her menses. Menopause can bring many mixed feelings for a woman, and sadly this last rite, when she can finally come back to herself, is often not only uncelebrated, it can be traumatic.
With every rite of passage is a gateway to a new phase of life and this particular rite of woman’s passage is often neglected. Let us look at the preceding rites often called blood rites, to further understand how profound it is for a woman to reach this point when she can finally let go and BE.
Our first rite as a woman is the shedding of the first blood and blossoming of womanhood. In the tribes this was a celebration and I am happy to say after years of western sexual suppression and denial of this hidden aspect of a woman’s life, this trend is having a rebirth. A celebration it should be, coming into womanhood or becoming a young lady is very special indeed.
The second rite of passage for a woman is the loss of her virginity, when she bleeds after having the experience of love making for the first time. In many traditions this happened in the bridal bed, and was highly prized, respected and honoured. With equal rites for men and women and thus more sexual freedom, and less religious guilt attached to premarital sex this tradition is perhaps outmoded. The fact remains however, for all women, the loss of her virginity is a very significant experience/rite of passage in life and hopefully a joyful comfortable and awakening one. This leads her into the exploration of sexual pleasure with a partner and the exploration of relationship in an intimate way.
A woman’s next transition occurs when she gives birth for the first time, and the joyful blood associated with new life and motherhood, a time for celebration in every culture. Riding the of pain of transition experienced prior to the birth of her first child prepares a woman by awakening in her consciousness of the qualities of surrender, determination, endurance, and flexibility necessary for her coming motherhood. Birth can also be a reminder that with the awakening of joy, pain can easily be forgotten. Some ancient tribes believed the fertile woman or mother bled for the family as a monthly cleansing, and, is a reminder that her womb was ripe with the promise of new life and the continuing of the family lineage.
Not all women choose to or have the opportunity to bear children, however this in no way makes her less of a woman, her natural intuition, creativity and deep feelings often being expressed in other areas of her life.
Her final womanly rite of passage is the cessation of blood, when her menses slow and finally stop, beginning with peri-menopause, then final cessation or menopause and the post menopause time of new beginnings and adjustments to this phase of life. With the changing production of hormones, women once again have personal, psychological, spiritual and physical adjustments to make just as they did during puberty, with pregnancy and breastfeeding and now again during this final gateway. This can bring many mixed feelings for a woman, and sadly this last rite, when she may finally relax her external responsibilities and focus on herself, is often not only uncelebrated, it may be traumatic.
For some, the unstable and changing hormone status will bring uncomfortable symptoms such as hot flashes and insomnia, bringing emotional instability to her changing body. Often due to some of the physical effects of hormonal changes, symptoms such as lowered libido and vaginal dryness can create relationship issues and insecurity. The good news is, all of this can be dealt with and overcome by adopting a healthy lifestyle, using herbs, essential oils and potions, together with a deeper understanding and honouring of her beautiful and complex body.
As a Naturopath I enjoy assisting women through this transition period with the help of natural medicines, spiritual counselling and helpful practical hints to assist a smooth transition.
For some women the fact that they are no longer fertile can bring a form of grief or loss, even if they do not desire more children, it is the door of a wonderful phase of their life closing. With every new door that opens, one closes. However, the gifts of this new period are many.
Perhaps for some women, the most challenging aspect is her changing intimate relationship during this passage of time. If she is not in a deeply open and honest and spiritual relationship she may now find her man is, or she may interpret him, as being impatient or lacking in understanding and empathy for her changing body and fluctuating emotions. Now is a time when she again is on the bridge of change and would be grateful of support, not only from other women but also her man, her life partner and lover, often the father of her children. There is good news on this front, it is possible to experience wonderful love making in this phase of our lives, often more free and fulfilling on a deeper spiritual level – without the need for contraception being a great boon. Talking about it often helps!
In ancient cultures menopausal women are entering the doorway to become the wise one’s, the grandmothers, the hag or the crone (not my favourite terms I must say), the elders of the tribe or community. They have spent the innocence of childhood, the sweetness and passion of youth and the following fertile years of motherhood and sensuality and passion of sex in relationship. The wise woman bleeds no longer for her family and can relax back into herself, meditate and share her creativity and wisdom in new and different ways with the community. Fear not; becoming an elder does not have to mean old, decrepit, or lacking in vitalitiy – the wisdom born of years can be very alive, very creative, and dynamic in a more gentle and wholesome way.
Traditionally she now has time to slow down, becoming a foundation stone of strength and wisdom for her larger family and community. By now most women have found their path in life, and are content to find a new sense of balance with their changed energies. If she finds herself alone at this time, she may really appreciate support of loving friends, extended family and nature.
In the west it is at this time in life women now may have time for service to the community working for charity or sharing their knowledge and gifts more freely with the community. This gives a tremendous sense of self-worth to many people, and the much needed help, and hands of service to many wonderful charities serving the communities here and abroad.
In India in ancient times the wise ones retire from family life to the forest to live out their days with a simple life in an Ashram or hermitage spending their time close to nature and their personal God in prayer and meditation.
Becoming a grandmother or aunty is another important role in assisting and sharing and caring for the young ones. Now grandmother/elder, she has or should have earned the respect of the younger ones. She can become the story teller, the confidant, the one who listens and does not judge as she has walked the path and made her mistakes, learned from them (hopefully), explored her passion, her body, her sex and the sacredness of birth and motherhood and the coming of wisdom.
Sadly though, this is not always the picture in modern society. Transition times for women do bring insecurity issues up particularly around self-love, self-acceptance and what beauty really means to us. Somehow the MIND believes wrinkles only look good in photographic depictions of tribal people of unknown character, not ourselves. Wrinkles are considered quite unfashionable unfortunately. I personally prefer to call them character lines. However the Feminine ego is proud and the body beautiful does not seem to embrace our ‘womanly character lines’. Desperate to hold onto the passion and sex appeal of youth at all costs, many of us get caught up striving to beat the illusive enemy of time, with beauty treatments, nips, tucks, colour, make-up, hormone replacement, Botox, mature age IVF and surgery.
Media certainly does not encourage graceful aging and paints even our older women figureheads with android like faces without blemish or a stray grey hair, often heavy with make-up and in perfect stance instead of embracing mature natural beauty.
I have always admired Meryl Streep as a woman of substance who does just this.
The Desiderata, an ancient poem gives perfect Counsel, ‘Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth”. As an elder or grey hair we are beautiful, in fact many may say we are more beautiful, more authentic, more appealing than ever before. I feel this.
Now having entered these sacred years of the wise one myself, with a few grey hairs, I feel my energy relaxing, and I now choose more time doing the things I really love; music, travel, meditation, my writing, gentle yoga, gardening and contemplation on the mysteries of the universe. Life it seems will not go on forever, as we all foolishly believed in our youth, each moment seems a precious gift or present. Each moment precious and maintaining the delicate balance of our life more important than ever. I find I am more conscious in choosing the people I spend that time with. My family and husband have become more precious to me as has my time alone and in Nature. I cherish my early morning time spent with my personal sadhana (personal spiritual practice) of Yoga and Meditation and that early morning chai with my darling husband.
With one young son of 11 still at home, I am an older mum, but a wiser one and a more patient one. I also have to say having one child and sharing him with 2 dads is very different to having 4 on my own. Life is much more relaxed and we are more relaxed about most things around the household.
My personal wish for this phase of my life is to continue to travel for several months of the year and share all I have learned with as many people as possible, my wisdom, and my life’s and my stories some funny, some sad and some tragic but all of which have made me who I am. I then love to return to my garden and share time with the flowers, trees and beautiful creatures that grace it.
I am very happy to reach this more relaxed and peaceful period of my life.
I am also blessed to able to share this with my beloved husband Terry.
What Lurks in your Personal Care Products? Is it affecting your hormones?
IS YOUR SMILE IMPORTANT TO YOU - Did you Know that the health of you mouth and teeth could affect your energy levels, immune system and general vitality. Not to mention that lifting the corners of your mouth brings JOY, HAPPY HORMONES and makes you irresistibly attractive and exuding positive energy. However if you cannot smile naturally and confidently because of gum or tooth pain or infection your confidence may also take a fall. Did you know bacterial infections in teeth, toxic root canal fillings and amalgams containing mercury, and periodontal or gum disease can lead towards a complete break down in your health. Taking care of this intimate part of our body which gives us our expression of Joy & YOUR UNIQUE SMILE is vital to our overall health. The mucous membrane lining our our oral cavity is very sensitive and readily absorbs anything we put into the mouth directly into our bloodstream. Have you ever stopped to think what is in your toothpaste??Fluoride in toothpaste is shrouded in dodgy evidence and in my mind even after the brainwashing I went through as a young person studying Dental Therapy where they really tried to convince us it was safe just as mercury was considered ‘safe’. Both are toxic poisons. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) are commonly used in Toothpastes, Shampoos, detergents, cleansers, mascara, baby washes and other foaming agents and are chemically known as surfactants. SLS and SLES are esters of Sulphuric acid – SLS is also known as “Sulfuric acid monododecyl ester sodium salt”, however there are over 150 different names by which it is known. So if you can’t recognise a name on your products ‘investigate further before buying’ . In fact, SLES is commonly contaminated with dioxane, a known carcinogen. Although SLES is somewhat less irritating than Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, it cannot be metabolised by the liver and its effects are therefore much longer-lasting.
SODIUM LAURYL SULPHATE is commonly known now as a Skin irritant and Eye Irritant, yes Eyes and there is growing evidence that they are associated with cataracts in adults and eye irritation in children especially in BUBBLE BATH commonly used for children. This is criminal in my mind – what are we lovingly bathing our beloved children in. Young living has great alternatives for children.
They are drying stripping the moisture and protective lipids from the surface of the skin. Dermatitis sufferers listen and avoid any products with this product in!!
WHY ARE THEY USING THESE POISONS- So why is a dangerous chemical like sodium lauryl sulfate used in our soaps and shampoos?
The answer is simple – it is cheap. The sodium lauryl sulfate found in our soaps is exactly the same as you would find in a car wash or even a garage, where it is used to degrease car engines.
WHAT? A DEGREASER - In the same way as it dissolves the grease on car engines, sodium lauryl sulfate also dissolves the oils on your skin, which can cause a drying effect. It is also well documented that it denatures skin proteins, which causes not only irritation, but also allows environmental contaminants easier access to the lower, sensitive layers of the skin.
OH NO NOT MY HORMONES – Perhaps most worryingly, SLS is also absorbed into the body from skin application. Once it has been absorbed, one of the main effects of sodium lauryl sulfate is to mimic the activity of the hormone Oestrogen. This has many health implication and may be responsible for a variety of health problems from PMS and Menopausal symptoms to dropping male fertility and increasing female cancers such as breast cancer, where oestrogen levels are known to be involved.
I have only mentioned ONE chemical here in your personal care products – I began this blog about Toothpaste but it goes on – Shampoo, Face cleanser, baby bath, bubble bath, deodorants (full of Aluminium salts and Ethyl alcohol), face creams, perfumes that are so toxic they upset hormone balance and cause migraines – you name it. Each day we slather chemicals all over our skin and wonder why we are not vibrantly healthy??? We may just be mixing a toxic cocktail for our poor liver to deal with – or not!
Get educated READ LABELS, Choose wisely not only what you eat but what you chemicals you keep in your bathroom for your pampering and beauty.
The story only gets worse when you read labels, I am yet to find a purely healthy product in Supermarket Shelves. That is why I use the best because I DESERVE IT and in buying the best which I encourage you all to do you are supporting healthy industry. If no-one buys these chemical cocktails then hopefully they will go out of business. Imagine using Vaseline from petroleum or Baby oils from Petroleum, what were we thinking – Nope we weren’t thinking.
However in this day and Age we can be more CONSCIOUS so think about it and choose wisely for your family. So Keep SMILING AND CHOOSE HEALTHY PRODUCTS Love to all Soraya

The Power of Essential Oils – Purification
I just had to share these two stories from my family about an oil blend I would never be without - PURIFICATION ESSENTIAL OIL BLEND from Young Living. I hope this information is helpful to you. Young Living Essential Oils I have found to be the most pure, effective and of the highest vibration for healing. I will be running a FIRST AID COURSE using ESSENTIAL OILS & NATURAL THERAPIES in January – look out for it by signing up for my newsletters. Blessed Be Soraya.
BACTERIAL INFECTION behind ear – My son had been away with his dad having a wonderful time while I was in Europe. He returned home with long hair, it grows so fast and is very thick, and I don’t think he had washed behind his ears often (a boy thing without mum’s eye). He called me in on the second night back and said his ear was sore. Behind his ear was a very nasty bacterial infection that was very wet and yukky. OH I said, I think we better put some oils on that. I was a bit worried because it had been there a while and looked very established, the back of his ear was covered and under his lobe was red rough, wet and slimy. After a week of applying purification 1-2 drops twice a day it is all but gone. We are still applying it daily just before sleep. I am sure a doctor would have used antibiotics, which I always avoid unless there is a life threatening infection.
HORNET STING: Another Amazing story this week. Yesterday Terry went into the shed to get a lead and got chased and stung by a hornet twice. He ‘sounded’ as he raced into the screened house. It was stinging like crazy. I applied Purification Oil neat to each bite asking him to ‘Stand Still’ and WaLa the pain stopped, He was amazed. The magic of oils – I love them.
Purification oil from Young Living contains: Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus), lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), Melaleuca (Melaleuca alternifolia) lavandin (Lavandula x hybrida), and myrtle (Myrtus communis). It can be diluted in a spray bottle to keep mozzies and bugs away. It is amazing for taking the sting and inflammation out of bites of jumping ants, wasps, green ants and hornets. I also travel with this oil blend as it is great for clearing spaces, by diffusing it or putting on cotton balls and stuffing into the air-conditioning vents in hotel rooms to clear the space from old unwanted energies.
I am a Naturopath & distributor of Young Living Essential OIls number 540882. Please call me on 0400 520 624 if you are interested in using these oils. See my website for more information www.sorayasaraswati.com .
Sacred Sites – The end of the Tour
Well here I am in Glastonbury. We have spent the last 3 days here visiting the sacred sites around this powerful place. I have just come down from walking up to the Tor this evening in the dark with Terry. Following the footsteps of the ancient goddesses spiralling up to this great monolith standing majestically above Glastonbury, begging to be climbed. Centuries of legends and folklore have gathered around this Tor. The Tor is a place where the veil between the worlds is thin. Strange experiences here are usually interpreted according to the beliefs of the times. Tonight – the night before the Aries full moon, our second last night in the UK, Terry and I walked the lanes lined by hedges and across the fields and up to circle the tor 3 times and sit on the slopes by her side. The sky was cloudy so the moon was hiding from us but the fresh clean air and veiled light made it a beautiful experience. Now back at the Ashram at the bottom of the hill I reflect on this pilgrimage I first dreamt of when I was 21 living in an Ashram near Sydney.
Today we also visited the Chalice Well, another of my favourite power places that bless this earth. Chalice Well is one of Britain’s most ancient wells, nestling in the Vale of Avalon between the Glastonbury Tor and Chalice Hill. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and orchards it is a living sanctuary in which the visitor can experience the quiet healing of this sacred place. For over two thousand years this has been a place where people have gathered to drink the waters and find solace, peace and inspiration. I love the garden here lovingly tended by the humble head gardener and his helpers. The water of which we always partake are said to have healing qualities and runs red through the gardens. I cleansed my crystals in the healing wells waters flowing over the rocks dyed red from the iron rich waters over hundreds of years.
Yesterday we also visited the gorge of Cheddar , with its stunning views and incredible archeological sites. We walked many miles up and over the gorge taking in the breathtaking views, clean fresh country air and peace. In such a populated land we walked for several hours not seeing anyone. It was perfect.
We have come to the end of our tour, tomorrow we head to London to see a couple of friends before preparing to leave from Heathrow. Terry and I have been on the road for 2 1/2 Months and it has been an amazing journey. We have met wonderful people, shared amazing love, music and wisdom. We have shared all we are and received much love and true friendship in return. There have been challenges and occasionally doubts, however as the great mystery unfolded all has been well and much learned and revealed. We have been to Greece, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Paris and the Uk. What a journey it has been.
I am ever grateful for my life and the opportunity to share my and our work. I am grateful for my loving partner Terry and the opportunity to share each step with him as my best friend and beloved partner.
I now look forward to returning home, sleeping in our bed, seeing my children, walking in the garden, playing with my dogs and opening my new healing room. Terry and I have been given from Spirit the name of our home, so now so we invite you all on November 6th to come to the opening of the new healing room, naming of our home and celebration of our new Album “Healing Sound Journey”.
Blessed Be. Aum & Prem. Soraya.
Into the Unknown
Well here we go again off into the unknown. I am typing this from a little coffee Shop called “The coffee Bean & Tea Leaf” in Brunei. We have rested up for the next 14 hour flight to London.
It is all happening in the world, London is Burning. The teenagers are crying out for help, boundaries, Love and some way to express themselves creatively. So sad these young people are lost bored, angry, poor and resentful. Anger, frustration, and resentment unleashed on the streets is a destructive force. My heart feels their pain and I send a prayer of loving forgiveness to them and those who have fallen victim to their pain. They are part of a world call for change, can we their elders stand strong for love and make the world a better place.
There is another way, the way of the peaceful warrior. Strong, clear, powerful and LOVING. So as Terry and I step out into the big world from our little simple forest retreat, in Palmwoods, we hope to be a part of that loving light that is required to recognise our anger, frustration and sadness and shine the light of acceptance and truth on our dark side. From taking responsibility for our feelings ‘as they are’ we can then choose to take the first steps forward toward love, forgiveness and freedom.
We have a long journey ahead, but here now this is my contemplation. Love to all Soraya
