These Sunshine Coast Chakra Yoga sessions are around balancing our energetic system through gentle asana or yoga postures and exercises, pranayama or breathing techniques, mindfulness or directed awareness and yoga nidra guided meditation. Chakra yoga also uses sound and mantra with awareness of energy centers in the body to awaken and balance prana.
Chakras (wheels of life force energy) organise and co-ordinate energy for the reception, assimilation, storage and expression of our life force or energy. This course will be based around balancing our energetic system through an understanding of the nadis or energy channels and balancing the wheels of energy that feel our body. Chakras. The classes will achieve this through Asana, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, Mantra, Chakra and Nadi awareness. Together with the sounds or mantras associated with the chakras and clearing meditations.
note: This course does not require long term yoga practice or a flexible body. The focus is on awareness and directing energy.
Free flowing energy in the body equates to vibrant health. When the flow of energy is blocked we experience dis-ease.
