Free to Be Me – Developing Confidence & Resilience
Yoga • Breath • Meditation • Nature • Play
A playful yoga, meditation and nature play class for home school children developing self-awareness for emotional resilience in Palmwoods
Suitable for children aged 4–10 – A place for children to move, breathe, play, explore and simply be themselves.
Free to Be Me at is a playful, nature-based space where children are introduced to simple practices that support self-awareness, emotional resilience, calm and connection.
Through yoga, breathing practices, mindfulness, meditation, joyful movement, nature exploration and creative play, children learn ways to connect with their bodies, understand their emotions and discover their own inner resources.
What we explore
🌿 Yoga & Movement
Fun, age-appropriate yoga and movement to develop body awareness, balance and confidence.
🌬️ Breath & Mindfulness
Simple breathing and mindfulness practices to help children become more aware, grounded and present.
💛 Resilience & Self-Regulation
Gentle practices that help children recognise and work with feelings, release tension and develop greater resilience.
🌸 Nature & Play
Time outdoors to explore, imagine, connect and enjoy the freedom of unstructured play.
🌺 A space to simply be
There is no pressure to perform or get things “right”. Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace, discover what feels good in their bodies and develop a trusting relationship with themselves.
