Overcoming the Effects of Trauma
TRE & Vagal Toning Workshop Sunday November 13th
To overcome bodily held tension, ongoing anxiety and the effects of past trauma we need a toolbox. This workshop offers that toolbox. It’s designed to support you to release past trauma and better deal with ongoing daily stresses and triggers. This is an experiential workshop with lots to learn and incorporate into your self-care program.
TRE is an amazing self-help practice to destress releasing built up bodily held trauma and tension. Together with mindfulness meditation, embodiment practices, vagal toning exercises and yoga nidra we will deepen our sense of inner self-connection.
Soraya Saraswati is a yoga therapist, TRE facilitator and teacher with 40 years experience.
In this workshop you will learn

- Discover and practice TRE trauma release exercises
- Learn 7 exercises to activate your calm and soothing parasympathetic nervous system
- Mindfulness meditation
- Yoga Nidra
- The healing power of sound
This workshop is a great introduction to, or a continuation for those already practicing TRE at home.
A very special addition is having Terry Oldfield join me on flute for a healing sound section.
