Wesak 2023 Full Moon Celebration

Join Musicians and Teachers Soraya Saraswati and Terry Oldfield to celebrate the Wesak 2023 May full moon in Scorpio. Wesak is an auspicious time globally for spiritual gatherings. Coming together for peace and awakening at this time is supported by the cosmos. We are gathering at the beautiful Mangalam Retreat surrounded by nature.

The  annual Wesak Festival is celebrated at the time of the Scorpio Full Moon in May. It  is said to be one of the most auspicious days for spiritual energy each year. For Buddhists Wesak marks the birth, enlightenment and death of the Buddha. In the ageless wisdom it is a living event, a time when a great blessing is poured forth upon the world by the Buddha. Legend speaks of a sacred ceremony in which the Buddha, the Christ and enlightened Beings at the heart of all faiths deliver a special blessing to the world. As we link with this event, a great channel of light is created that uplifts all life.

We come together to sing for peace and enjoy a Vedic healing fire ceremony.

The event will be followed by a shared meal for those who wish to stay.  Please bring an offering of healthy vegetarian food.
