Stay with your daily meditation practice. Be regular.
Spending daily time in the sacred silence of meditation will nourish your body, calming the nervous system, allowing deeper presence in all relationships.
But more than this you will become free of worry, for you will see that the outside world is ever changing. And change is inevitable.
Yet the inner sense of SELF or ‘I’ remains the same.
This is your still point – from here you may watch the world being spun.
Do not be disturbed by the arising thoughts. Let them come and go. Do not feed them with your attention or they will grow into mind made monsters…
Let thought fall into the background. Be uninterested….
Simply sit in silence, and return your awareness to the sense of ‘I’ that is prior to and aware of the arising thoughts, sensations, sounds distractions etc.
Become the Wise Seer – the Still Point – undisturbed by the play of the body-mind.
Keep returning to this sense of ‘I’ who is witnessing, who is watching but not involved in the changing phenomena. And develop detachment.
I took the photo of the eclipse from Mangalam Retreat 3/3/2026.
Enjoy this beautifully recorded channeled flute by Terry Oldfield. Released yesterday, the day of the full moon and lunar eclipse.
